A PDF that displays correctly in Safari and Firefox, most of it shows garbage.
-- all in the wrong font. I assume it's a font problem or something.

By garbage, I mean stuff like:

If I select text/garbage in the PDF viewer and paste into some editor, it's perfectly valid text, so it's just the displaying that's off ...

I also have noticed this on Windows and Mac OS. I have worked around it by choosing to not use the chrome pdf as the default for now. This option is in the settings page.

This trouble is on Winows Opera, but on Linux it works well. 47.0.2631.55 Stable System: Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS (x86_64; XFCE)

For example, this file in Opera on WIndows machine shows the garbage: https://app.bigbird.ru/member/printPdf/ea95b28f-4941-4edb-8b88-8634f763ae24/Заказ%20покупателя%20(Счет%20на%20оплату)%20№9%20от%2026-08-2017.pdf

Same. Since some day some PDF are not readable. If i copy a sentence and paste it to another program, i can read it. Perhaps a problem with the typesetting/the letters?
